Balanced Sky Therapies

About Me

Hi! I am a mother to my baby, Mason, and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of California Riverside, and with my Masters in Special Education (concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis) from Arizona State University. I have worked with families and their children for over 8 years. Over the years, I have directly provided ABA therapy to neurodivergent children and as a supervior and parent consultant in many different settings (e.g. clinics, homes, daycare, school. telehealth). Before starting my own practice, I was a Clinical Director at an ABA company that provided services for neurodivergent individuals ranging in age from 2-25 years old. I have experience supporting those who engage in tantrums, aggression, self-injurious behaviors, elopement, repetitive behaviors, property destruction, etc. In addition, I have assisted families in teaching their children expressive communication, receptive communication, social, and daily living skills.

My one goal in starting this practice is to provide parents with support in understanding their children’s behaviors and creating healthy habits that facilitate their growth. While I have focused a lot of my career on neurodiversity, I believe that behavior analysis is a great tool for everyone. Each child is unique and no one plan will help all children. Each child requires a tailored and individualized approach. My favorite part of the job is to help ease the mind of parents and have them feel confident in their reactions to behaviors and parenting skills. I believe that you know your child best and it is important to work as a team. I am here to listen, empathize, and work together to identify strategies.
