About Me
Hi! I’m Mei Appelgate, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who is passionate about supporting children and families through individualized, compassionate, and evidence-based care. I have worked with children and adults with special needs for 8 years. I have my bachelors in psychology and my masters in special education (concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis). I believe that every child has unique strengths, and my role is to help families build on those strengths while addressing the challenges.
When I am not working with families, I am spending time with my own! I have a 8 month old baby named Mason who continues to teach me new things everyday. I also enjoy snowboarding, spending time with friends, cooking, baking, and reading.
